 ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr Sally Ayesa is many things. She is a mother of two, an average guitar player, a lover of good wine and a dual-trained radiologist and nuclear medicine physician in the making. Sally was awarded the HR Sear Prize for the 2017 RANZCR Part II Exam Series, and has spent her time since trying to dissect how she did it and analyse the mistakes she made.

After passing the RANZCR Part II exam, Sally has become actively involved in registrar teaching and helping others prepare for the exam. She is also a lecturer, course co-ordinator and creator for the University of Sydney Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education, appointed Specialty Lead for Medical Imaging from January 2024. Sally is a presenter for Lightbox Radiology Education, Siemens Healthineers and Radiopaedia.

The advice and tips on this blog are general only, based on my experiences of preparation for and sitting the exams. As I always say in teaching, what worked for me might not necessarily work for you - and others may have better approaches to some of the topics on this blog. If you strongly disagree with any of the content I would love to hear from you so I can learn more.
